Hey HC, trying spirulina instead of kelp would be an interesting experiment in my opinion. You can try it and let us know how you do. The main thing is the Moreless drink has certain ingredients for a reason and if you do not feel you are getting the best results from your HarmonicCharge Alkalizing drink then please reconsider the kelp and purchase good quality North Atlantic kelp.
has a good selection. Rockweed Ascophyllum nodosum is very good and so is Laminaria digitata
Spiralina is a good source of certain trace minerals but it is subject to pollution also although the producer of spiralina may want you to believe differently, these breeding ponds are just as open to pollutants as ocean kelp !
Kelp is a great source of all the trace minerals known to man and unlike spiralina contains Iodine an essential trace element!
North Atlantic sea kelp is fairly toxin free as free as the air we breath I would imagine and even with a certain amount toxins these become neutralized with other elements present in the kelp itself and even more so with the Moreless drink!
Well hush my mouth ! It appears you're right ! I guess I assumed because it is raised in inland ponds that Iodine was missing as it is in many inland soils!
Well it would be interesting to see what ML has to say about using it as a replacement for kelp!
Although ML prefers kelp I don't believe he would tell you to throw out your spirulina. I use spirulina myself, at least until my supply is gone.
It is an interesting plant ,they say it has both animal and vegetable cells!
