hmm.. I honestly never heard of losing fat in the face and head, but I also have had crawling sensations on the face and top of the head. I still have the crawling on the head, but the crawling sensations on the face were worst when I was on Olive Leaf. Since I have rosacea as well, I assumed that the crawling sensation was due to the demodex mite, which lives on a large percentage of us, but few notice it.
I use a sulfur-based/tea-tree oil solution for the face (purple emu blemish and redness control) and I use a tea tree oil shampoo for the scalp which helps. When I had the worst crawling, I slathered on some pure jojoba oil on the face and it stopped it. I would sleep with this on so I wouldn't have to feel the crawling.
I also picked up some sea buckthorne oil soap and lotion and plan on using this soon for the demodex. I am waiting for my sea buck thorne oil shampoo to come in the mail.
Hope this helps...
I have had skin crawling but not just on my head and face. It was all over my skin. Its very distressing. Sorry I havent heard of the skin loss either. Have you any lesions or sores? If so check out Morgellons Disease. Otherwise it could be some skin parasite - I believe there is a skin parasite forum on curezone or even the candida toxins can cause these sensations. I swore I had insects crawling over me but turned out that it was the little tiny nerves under my skin giving rise to insect type crawling sensations. I have a Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome diagnosis too and there are neurological disturbances going on with Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome which again can cause these crawling, tingling or biting sensations. Hope you can get to the bottom of whats causing the problem.
Similar things have happened to me over the past 2 weeks - I am also experiencing the biting sensations/tingling sensations all over. It *IS* totally distressing, because it always brings me to the net and I end up at the morgellons information and it totally freaks me out. But, I do believe in my case is also due to nerves and I believe liver stress. The toxins are trying to come out through the skin I am assuming. I've been taking Epsom Salt baths the past number of nights and yeast is coming out through the skin when I do that. It's been helping the sensations.
I switched to a different antifungal and have dropped the Olive Leaf for awhile as well.
Westiegirl - yes the Morgellons info. is very frightening and I feel so sorry for those who suffer from it. I guess those are extreme cases. Interesting about the liver stress you mentioned because I notice I get skin crawling and pricking sensations around my period time which ties in with the liver trying to balance the hormones (as well as deal with all my candida toxins). Liver support did help alot with the skin crawling but like I said it does still occur around those times of the month. That also ties in with the original posters point that the skin crawling increases with antifungals - which of course would create a further load for the liver to deal with.
I'd like to try the baths detailed in the moreless forum. Having a bit of trouble finding 35% hydrogen peroxide (That is what u have to use?) from a retail store. Might have to look online a little more. A lot of stuff is hard to find locally in Australia.
These crawling sensations are related to low estrogen - at least, this is what Dr Elizabeth Vliet says. You would therefore get these sensations just after ovulation and just before your period begins. Mark them on a calendar to see whether this ties up.
Peniccilum Marenefi cns infection. Look it up, its a fungus/mold type infection and it literally becomes like worms. Lotta cover up on this, I am dealing with it myself you gotta remember the medical system is crooked. Dont be naive about it, they will try an avoid curing you at all costs.
Everytime I eat it seems they move out of my head to my stomach. If I drink salt water it seems they return to my head to hide out. I feel crickling sound in my head especially now that I am trying to get them out.
