My Dr. told me when I have carrot juice to also have Flax Oil (for the good fat) and nuts (for fat and protein) to help the Sugar not to absorb so fast - I don't know if that works with carrots too or not.
I would say culture them. You can buy them at the health food store, raw cultured veggies, or get a culture starter from body ecology and make it yourself. get your probiotics and carrot benefits at once!!!
carrots are full of Sugar and are to be avoided entirely on the candida diet. Atleast for the first 3 months. Then you can eat them in extreme moderation after that. The diet must be maintained for about a year actually to get over the problem for good. No carrots. Think sugar. Candida eats it and you have a problem.
if you culture the carrots you dont have Sugar and you can eat them freely. there are ways to get the benefits of important foods on the "candida diet" like carrots and beets. raw cultured veggies. you can eat carrots that way. and you get massive probiotics. this way, carrots kill candida and restore your digestion.
I don't know if they're bad for candidat but I've been eating 5 carrots a day, first thing in the morning and the main thing I've noticed are intestinal worms in my stools, so I googled and it says carrots do remove intestinal worms. I didn't even know I had them. I feel significantly better and my skin is glowing. I'm going to keep doing this because raw carrots are so easy to carry around, I just eat them while I'm driving and I chew very well, that's important and I drink a lot of water because if you don't you may get constipated, they're bulky.
