I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have done extended MCs and continued my regular workout, cardio and machines, every day barring crises with no problem.
I like to take 1 T. BLACKSTRAP molasses (recommended for diabetics doing the MC) in a cup of hot water before workouts for extra energy. Some people experience leg cramps and this will take care of the problem before it starts.
