You more than likely have a parasite. Kill it, and the smell will go away instantly when you kill it. I had the same problem, and this cured me. You wanna know why parasites cause this? Parasites cant eat digested food, so when food isnt digested then it rots in your intestines. Kill the parasite, kill the odor. Trust Me!
Hi helpmerhonda and thank you for posting your cure! I am currently trying to cure my fecal body odor and I think that parasites are a big possibility for what is causing my odor. Can you please give details about what exactly you did to kill your parasite? Thanks and once again I am very happy for you that you found your cure!
I would have to agree. I have been suffering recently and could not figure out what was causing it. I however, went to a naturopathic doctor and had a colonic. The first time I saw one parasite came out. (I didn't get great results because the colonic was uncomfortable and unfamiliar to me.) However, because a noticed a difference in BO I decided to do it again the following week. Two more parasites came out and the fecal odor is gone.
I believe that the fecal odor came about whenever I ate, which of course was when the parasites would it. It was worse with any sugar. Even though I tried to stay away from sugars it was difficult becuase parasites make you crave it. But, I alsw smelled bad whenver I ate fruits. So, the colonic was a God send.
I also had a foot bath to pull out toxins. And, because I believe that I have leaky gut syndrome, I am going for an infrared sauna. But, I really believe the colonic was the best course of action. I really hope this helps because I would hate for anyone to go through this!!!
I haven't seen a Naturopath. I have talked to a Gastro about my bad breath & fecal body odor but I think he thought I was crazy. He suggested a high fiber diet which didn't help. I also have IBS symptoms as well. I've had leaky gut for a while now, but my bad breath & IBS started about two years ago. I've always ate junk food my whole life, I still do, I have a feeling that's what may have caused all these problems. I've tried the Candida diet many times but always ended up eating bad food again. I'm going to give the diet another chance cause I've read about many success stories with this diet. Does anybody else have IBS symptoms along with fecal breath or fecal body odor?
I also had candida. I did the candida diet for about 8 months and finally had success. However, I think it would have went better if I had had the colonic earlier. When fecal matter sits in your stomach the candida, parasites and worms have a field day. If you are eating Sugar it can be any one or all of these. I had all 3. After going through several MD's my Naturo path actually looked at my blood and saw a few parasites. But, what he also found out was that my blood was clotted and recommended Omegacare Vanilla which is found at http://www.lifesource.net.
This worked wonders for me. He also recommended Body Balance which helps restore you ph to a good level. Apparantly these organisms can't survive in a high ph (above 7.0, I think). But even with this I had trouble keeping my ph above 7.5 until I had the colonics. (It was usually around 5.0 throughout the day. It would come up to a 6 or 6.5 for about an hour and then drop. Also, I bought a probiotic that had a 50 billion count, this helped, too. But, again before purchasing anything else. I would go to a naturopath and have them LOOK at your blood so that you can view it on a slide with the doctor. This is of course my opinion but it has helped immensly. The omegacare and body balance are expensive but I think they were worth it. I can give you my account # as referral number if you are interested BUT again have someone look at your blood because they can actually what you are dealing with.
I have had the same issue. I have been fired from every job I ever had and interviews are a nightmare. Recently an interviewer held her nose as I spoke and dismissed me... what could I do??? I have taken chlorophyll for the past several years and it does not help much, but better than not taking it at all. I have had the fecal odor since childhood and it has been a rough life as I approach midlife. I workout a lot and could clear out my space in the gym when I sweat.
In the past 2 weeks I have found something that seems to be working, but as in the past, I'm afraid it will come back and am reluctant to say that I'm cured. I started taking FIBER CHOICE supplement tablets, three at night and 1 in the morning even though the directions say to take two per day... two per day did nothing. I went to the Dr and told him of my problem and he scraped my tongue and tested positive for yeast, candida I believe, and prescribed antibiotics. After 4 days of taking 4 per day my bowel movements smelled like my sweat and breath did. That lasted 2 days or so and since then my breath does not smell of feces nor does my sweat (I hope). People are actually talking to me now and it seems they are dying to ask what I did but don't want to embarrass me (further).
From what I understood from my doctor, the bacteria tries to escape and does so thru breathe, sweat, and urine bringing the fecal odor along with it. Even with strict diets, supplements, and cleansing, the bacteria will remain behind and multiply. Fiber reduces the bowels and antibiotics kill the bacteria. That is MY understanding and I feel better than ever.
I hope this helps. If anyone else has a different solution, please POST IT EVERYWHERE!
