Does anyone have any recommendation for lowering systolic bp that is due to anxiety? When I go to Dr office I now have a terrible phobia and my systolic can be 160 (diastolic is always normal). At home I have abit of a phobia too but I do take it and usually get average of 130/70. I am an anxious person and also suffer easily from stress. Thanks for any help. I did buy a Resperate machine and I really like it, its like meditating for 15 mins which I know is helpful to me. My diet is a good one with juicing and raw fruits and veggies and low salt (if I use salt its Celtic Salt).
A few tinctures for hbp are listed, some especially for when anxiety is suspected. I'm just starting the eggplant tincture, which is listed on this site and also this one I listed above, I'll post if this stuff works for me. If you try any of the other tinctures and they work, let us know!
Place in wide-mouthed jar and cover with 1¼ cups 100 proof vodka, then cap. Allow to steep for 2 weeks, then strain and bottle in amber tincture bottle. Dose is 1 tsp taken 3 times daily. When HBP is associated with nervousness and/or palpitations, add 1 tbsp motherwort and 1 tbsp valerian (or skullcap).
I just tried the eggplant water last night and noticed that shortly after drinking it, I had an unusually strong urge to urinate. This feeling lasted for 30 minutes or so, even after multiple attempts to empty my bladder. Have you or anyone else ever experienced this sensation after drinking eggplant water?
