My diet is ok actually. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables with some chicken or quorn and my only real vice is coffee in the morning. Yesterday all I ate was a banana, a bowl of whole bran with raisins in the morning with coffee, a fruit smoothie and lots of cups of herbal/green tea and after that was when I drank my pee!!??
If you are only starting the therapy, you have to wait that your body is detoxicated before you have urine that will taste like broth. This is normal at the beginning of the therapy. The more you drink, the more the urine will clear up. The morning urine will be stronger though and if you experince great stress, and/or eat bad foods (and animal proteins) it will show up in your urine.

You CAN drink all of the flow and not just the mid stream. the mid stream idea comes from poor hygene in men many years ago. If you keep your penis clean and wash behind the foreskin regularly (if you have one or are male) then it is afe to drink all of the flow.
I agree with spiritual thogu about the 15 minute rule. Having said that I save and rink virtually every drop I can until early eveining. After that I find it keep me up peeing at night too much.
My health has improved - less colds and infections.
The taste IS strange to start with but don't worry you will get used to it and if you are lucky like me you will get to actually enjoy the taste.
In my case at the start of the day it is slightly bitter but has NO SMELL at all. If your does smell tha nwach your diet and cut out the salts; sugars and spicy foods (it's better for you anyway)
Then you will find that the more you drink each day then the better it tastes - in my case it gets to taste better than tap or spring water.
I also apply it to my face after shaving and hands as a moisturiser. No one has ever given me strange looks. Urine dries quickly INTO the skin and is passed INTO the body through the skin also with beneficial effects.
The first drink IS the hardest to take and if you don't gip then stick with it. Even if you DO then try again a little more each time and soon you will be able to drink it all.
Sipping us better than gulping.
On mornings when I have a long drive ahead of me I save my pee into a drinking flask and then sip it during the journey.
I am also lucky that I am able to fit a catheter into my penis and bladder (for personal not medical reasons) so that I can capture urine while I drive and drink it when I feel I want a drink. I also often use the catheter to drain my bladder completely if I am going to go a long time in between toilets or if I feel I want a drink but don't have the urge to pee.
