"I really hope the girl that posted about the "yellow eyes" is ok... last year I had to have my gallbladder removed, because while doing a cleanse, (not MC) apparently one of the stones got lodged somewhere and I had to go to the ER... (perfect example of toxins trying to get out... just bad place for them to go ) lol I got better and waited a few months before I went in for surgery, (going against my doctor's advice) but I distinctly remember him warning me to check my eyes EVERY morning upon waking up, because if a stone was to get lodged in one of the ducts that leads to the pancreas, I could have a pancreatic attack and DIE... thank God I did not have any other attack, had my gallbladder removed (which was FULL of stones) and Im fine now.. on my 3rd day of the MC.."
That board had some of the worst advice I've ever seen. Wow.
I have yellow eyes too. Of course it's because of my liver. They are pure white when I stick to eating a vegetarian diet. When I eat too many fats, they can turn slightly yellow on occasion. It's more like off-white actually.
Is it cause for alarm? Yes and no. It means my liver is messed up and congested. What this means is that I need to do liver flushes, liver tonics, and fasting. NOT rush to ER where they will remove your gallbladder whether there is nothing wrong with it or not. Removing teh GB won't even help, the problem is with the liver and people who have their GB removed will continue to get the symptoms in the future and things will be worse since every organ of our body has a purpose, GB is very important.
To Raine, I'd recommend looking into doing Dr Sutter Liver Flushes in the future. He recovered from terminal liver cancer using that method, combined with other methods.
By all means continue to fast, just keep your mind open to other options.
VX - thanks for your reply. I had been pondering a Liver Flush as I've never done one.
For the record, I've not had a prescriiption medication in more than 20 years and haven't seen a doctor in more than 10 years. I have very valid reasons for my aversion which can very quickly be summed up by stating ---> passenger in car wreck, got TMJ syndrome as a result with absolutely horrific head pains, was not diagnosed for almost 3 years, "doctors" kept me on a cocktail of prescriiption Tylenol, Midrin, Darvocet, Limbitrol DS and Halcion - All at the same time. Finally got myself off of Halcion (this was pre-media expose days on the drug) and found an oral surgeon that gave me an $800 "appliance" that fit into the roof of my mouth when I slept and immediately alleviated the pains.
I haven't worn the appliance in 15 years, never have head pains and avoid doctors like the plague.
From the amazing high energy I had a few days, I've not felt as energetic the past couple days. I had a full day shoot today and a 9a call tomorrow for another shoot. I usually have stellar vision and today I couldn't read closeup, being told my eyes were yellow and then having this odd heart beat sensation tonite when I was lying down. I meditated on it and felt the time was right to end the fast. I just juiced some lovely carrot and red grapes. I'm going to strive for a raw / juice diet for a while and practice a one day a week fast and occasional 3-5 day fast....unless I'm called to do something longer!
I just want to let everyone know how very much I value the feedback on this forum and the wonderful intellect and camaraderie. It's such a refreshing change from other sites! Chrisb1 & Mouseclick, you guys are amazing and such a wealth of knowledge - thank you for sharing it with us all.
day 9 and yellow eyes?
Your boyfriend may have interpreted the whites of your eyes as being yellow, but how do YOU see their color? would you say they are of a normal color or not?
InCharge is quite right, the whites of your eyes should become even more pronounced and sparkling as the fast progresses.
If they have a yellow hue, then this could be a sign of slight Liver dysfunction and possible mild jaundice, which would also be revealed by yellowing of the skin and other bodily fluids to some degree: is this the case?
It sounds to me that you have probably been overdoing things with your work schedule, and where your bodily organs may be in need of more rest and the conservation of those energies, which they are not being allowed to.
A few days of physical rest from your work would probably correct this, if not, and/or the yellowing becomes more pronounced, I suggest you have a blood test for your bilirubin levels to see if they come within the normal range: if the measurement is elevated this would account for the anomaly.
Get back to me on this one on a daily basis for any noticeable changes, although I am away from curezone early monday morning (London GMT) until tuesday evening.
