Addicts, and the "chemically dependant", will no doubt have metabolites of the drugs they take in their urine.
Anyone have any info on how this affects Urine therapy?
Or how re-ingesting these metabolites, by drinking their urine, will affect them, their drugs?
Will it make you high, or enhance the next dose at all? This could be serious if it leads to overdose, so I think someone would know about these questions.
What time of day would have the least drug-metabolites? for eg., Morning, if you don't take any doses of the drugs after 5 pm? - is this better for Urine therapy, to get less of the drug metabolites?
questions questions, I am allways asking questions...
I did read an article from a doc who has a successful practice using UT and he says although smokers and bad diet etc. are not helping the process, but he says his people who do still show great improvewment and to not let these things stop you, because there is always benefits from UT even for them ! Beside the metabolites help the body read your personal code and adjust accordingly! It wouldnt stop me ! It may help someone get of such meds!
The first advice authors give is not to use chemical drugs while on UT. The risk is an overdose and the two just don't mix. Any natural remedies, vitamins, or natural treatment is OK, but no allopathic drugs. If you want to practice UT, you should stay off the drugs two days before starting the therapy.
Some advise taking just a bit of urine at first while cutting down on the drugs. Cut down very very slowly and go towards larger quantities of urine but all this with lots of monitoring. If cutting the drugs is "life threatening" you have to be extra cautious and have a trained and qualified doctor or naturopath follow the situation.
An overdose from what! Even though some drugs do show up in urine the amounts are miniscule! If it wasnt so how could people who are toxic from heavy metals or other toxins, benefit from UT! Of course all advisors will follow the strictest of rules, but some have the courage to admit it is still safe to do on drugs. If I was on something that I had to take it would not deter me! If urine is not a waste product and the filtering process begins before it enters the kidneys how is it safe to do with someone lets say suffering from mercury toxicity, but not on drugs perscription or otherwise! Sometimes fear clouds common sense, if you've studied UT and are a competent adult its not hard to come to a conclusion on your own! If i where lets say addicted to heroine i would either use small amounts sublingual or I would use the urine at the longest point between use, before the next hit! Or I would adjust accordingly ! Common sense goes a long way! Remember Urine is not waste, it is filtered blood, overdosing on urine is a stretch to say the least!
Whenever I'm "high" from cannibis, and do uropathy, it always have a "normalizing" effect on me. The effect is immediate, as the first few sips are taken.
It always feels like it's the right thing to do. It seems to make the high last longer, and cuts the edge from it.
Although I primary smoke it due to costs, I detest smoking cannibis. I prefer to let my digestive system absorb it instead, or someday make "holy annointing oil". Regardless, there are metabolites that the body manufactures from metabolizing thc and other cannibinoids.
Reingesting these metabolites by drinking my own urine, I believe has a tremendous healing effect.
I d say you have a stressed adrenal, which is expressed in the edge as you say from smoking cannibis and the urine contains the hormones dhea and melatonin which takes the edge off or relives the adrenal stress! People I know who dont smoke pot anymore do so because of that reason ! I then tell them to have the adrenal tested for fatigue! Or to look into protocal that relieves a stressed adrenal! And of course Urine therapy does just that!
In the forum I tend to go by the book of what I learned reading on the subject. Those authors are doctors, naturopath and have lots of experience with the therapy. I'd rather give there advice than mine. I don't want to feel responsable if something goes not as well as expected. When you are talking about prescription drugs that is an whole different story. The first advice for all authors is no chemical drugs while doing UT or a small amount (ex: drops under the tongue). Another way is to try to cut on the allopathic drugs while taking on little by little larger quantities of UT. One author (Dr Christian Shaller) goes as far as saying you can take 1/2 cup per day while taking allopatic drugs. The goal is to cut down on the drugs (always talking about prescription drugs) and hope to put them away on the long run (if not life threatning). For exemple, if someone would take all of the urine they pass they would double the prescription which could be dangerous. As for mercury toxicity, yes there is supposed to be only a small amount of mercury passing through the kidneys, but one of my friend who has fibromyalgia and 18 teeth with mercury Amalgam had to stop the therapy while going through the process of repairing her teeth. She said she was feeling even worse and though it was the mercury ingested with the therapy??? We are a new generation trying the therapy with chemicals and toxic substances. This is a natural therapy and we should stick the more we can with natural intakes. They advise to swich from chemical drugs to natural drugs if possible. The therapy works well with herbal remedies or any remedies of natural source. As for myself, I really follow what makes sense to me and I try to stick to the natural way. UT and chemical drugs are not meant to work together.
In ancient times they used to drink UT for "highs" but they used natural drugs like mushrooms etc. The rich ones paid young men to eat magical mushrooms. They would then drink the young boy's urine and they would get their "high" without the bad side effects the mushrooms give them. Drinking urine is a natural therapy and chemical drugs with it is a no no.
This is an "easy therapy" with not too many restrictions as long as you stick with the most natural products and remedies. In ancient times they knew the therapy worked but they stick to natural products as that is all what they had. But today its a bit more complicated with all the chemicals that surrounds us. We have to be careful in that respect.
