After my 6th Liver Flush nothing came out, and my bile was still yellow. It is still yellow. I have been taking plenty of chinese medicine, apple juice, liver tonics and herbs and my bile has never been brown, since my first Liver Flush a couple of years ago. My stools are only dark when I eat purple foods like beetroot, blueberries or prunes, which I suspect is the colour of the foods, not my bile.
Recently I discovered this herb - chanca piedra, for helping with kidney stones that I intended to give as a gift to someone to help their kidneys. I took it first to make sure it had no bizarre side affects, and I get this string in my stool about 2 to 3 inches long.
I have decided to continue using up the bottle and give another one to my friend, and so far I have seen a mix of different colours, unusual bits and wot not appear in my stools, and they have gone a little green too.
I am surprised this herb has not had much mention in here, because it seems to be helping me where the others maxed out.
Yes! chanca piedra, quebra pedra, bhumyamalaki, aka phyllanthus niruri -- the strongest stone breaker I've tried, also the most emotional stirring and upto 4 times more powerful than Gold Coin Grass.
I've noticed that potassium is lost way more than with GCG however, so stay on the apple juice. A note of warning, it really does break apart lots of stagnation, which might be difficult to deal with if you are super congested.
Thanks for the advice. I have just experienced an almost fever like sensation, that lasted about 10 minutes while on the toilet releasing a lot of weird stools. I haven't experienced a fever sensation like that since my first liver flush. I can totally believe what you say about it bringing up lots of emotions.
Is there anything else you recommend I should take, or avoid while taking this herb?
Do you know how long I can take this for, and when I should stop taking it? I have gilberts syndrome, and everthing I have tried in the past has worked initially but after my stools go yellow again and I can never maintain a consistent healthy bowel colour, shape or size.
Im just wondering what you said about potassium? Does it deplete potassium from my body?
I would recommend you take as many bile movers (ginger, garlic, tumeric, peppermint, bitter foods, kale, beets) as is comfortable for you, increase fiber in terms of food, and add Kefir to your diet (fermented milk drink, better than yogurt).
I have been taking chanca piedra on and off for the past year, it's good to take around 1 week break every 2 months or so. I've been wanting to stop flushing for ages now (I have done 52 flushes since 2006).
Something unique that has happened with me is, when taking chance piedra (tincture) 3 days later, I released a huge blockage on my left side, ever since, "sand" has been pouring out! flush or no flush, sand has been pouring out for 500+ days.
I also had a completely blocked up right nostril, could not breathe thru it, ever, the doctor said the passage was too small, and would need an op to make it "larger" it also made my nose look bigger.
A month after I started taking chanca, I was lying down, and I felt 5 stones move across my chest, instantly my nose opened up, and I could breathe, properly, 2 days later I saw those stones, they were pure white floating stones (!) and they smelled horrible.
When you are in detox mode, very weird things happen, on the emotional side, you start feeling like you had a fight with someone every day, depression sweeps you down and then you are euphoric for days! old symptoms you thought were unrelated flare up leaving you feeling like wtf?
It is a lonely path, you can't relate to medicine as you once did, the only thing that keeps me going is, sheer will sometimes.
Things I've noticed is that, low bile = low mood, tired, depressed, angry, restless, etc. I have removed so much toxic crap in the last year, it is the only thing that shows me some hope, since when the toxic crap goes, alot of my symptoms go with it.
You have Gilberts, which only suggests that you aren't making enough bile, genetically it might mean your bileducts are smaller or your liver cells less able, if this were the case, you would have the issue since birth, but gilberts only sets in.. around 20s, usually when something 'stressful' happens, right?
As for temp, I've had down right fevers, banging headaches and feeling like I was going to puke for a week when some of the toxic crap left, sigh.
Thats some story. I am in awe. Actually I have seen some white blobs appear in my pooh aswell after taking chanca piedra. I also suffer from pyroluria apparently. Though when I started taking zinc and b6 for 3 months I got so depressed I gave up my job and could barely get up out of bed I felt so low. Running was the only thing that I began that picked me right up out of it.
I've been researching hair mineral analysis and heavy metal toxicities. I still have a bit of lead and mercury in my system and I'm biding my time before going through another chelation process with DMSA and ALA. I just wanted to know how balance my system before doing any hardcore detox, so I know how to help myself recover during the phases.
Have you heard of Andy Cutler and oral chelation? Maybe you could give this ago if you haven't, though its very important to follow the protocol to the letter.
I try and avoid supplements rather going for whole foods, kefir for instance has all the B6/Zinc you'll need and it's predigested, simple!
I don't believe in hair analysis myself, because hair is a dead product, so you would find stuff there if your body was working correctly -- if heavy metal poisoning was evident then your brain and internal organs would become very damaged very quickly (celluar death) if it wasn't being eliminated, the body shows very good signs when heavy metals are present!
I'm sure some people find it helps though, it seems to me that it requires your body at the basic level "healthy" before you can detoxify to that level and carry out the poison from the body.
I have heard of Cutlers protocol, it's a tough protocol and I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone, or they'd end up hating me ;)
I have been following Shelley ( http://www.askshelley.com/forum/
) she is an awesome person, though I haven't talked to her in ages, her protocols are very simple and straightforward.
