hi my nutropth asked me if my stools sink or float usually they sink which she said was bad as their full of mucsous if they sink
but latelt when ive looked at my stools they are floating is that good??
I don't know the answer, but thanks for answering for me about the sinkers! I always thought that sinkers would be better because that would mean fat was being emulsified, does that make sense? That floaters meant that fat wasn't being processed and assimilated therefore it would remain on top, kinda like cream on the top of raw, fresh, milk. Except, all throughout this ordeal, I've had maybe 2 floaters(in 7yrs)! The rest of mine are sinkers, and I always thought if that was good, why do I feel so BAD!LOL But the mucus does make sense in my case, I can't even hardly breath most days for all the thick mucus plugging things up. I didn't even have a period for about 4 yrs(I'm 35) UNTIL I started taking mucinex everyday. My doc asked why I thought I was having periods again, and he just shook his head and said he didn't think so. But that's the ONLY thing I changed. Go figure.
Yes, when all this began my periods stopped. I hemmoraged when I had my daughter, so I do believe that was involved. But long after my iron level was back up, my periods didn't come back. I believe the hemmorage effected my immuninty and candida set up shop somewhat at that time. But many more things occured and I believe this was just one piece of the giant puzzle. But I'm glad to have them back, b/c I feel semi-normal. But the yeast always goes crazy that time of the month. I guess what I meant about the sinker/floater thing, is that if your liver is working and you're producing bile, then the fat will assimilate and make for a "sinker". LOL, this conversation is kinda gross. Sorry!:) Anyway, obviously I don't have it right according to your naturopath.
