I cannot recollect any book recommending coffee enemas for hypertension. I have used garlic enemas and cleansing enemas for reduction of hypertension. I was suffering from diabetes type 2 with hypertension and high cholesterol. I cover my treatment in my blog titled “My challenge”, link below.
My diabetes is under complete control for the last two years, my blood pressure is acceptable and I am still working on my cholesterol.
Thanks for answering my post. I asked about a book because someone on another forum said that he lowered his BP with coffee enemas recommended in a book on heart disease. I asked him for title and author of the book, but he has not responded.
I have been on BP medicine for over 30 years, and am trying to cut down or eliminate the medications. So far, I have not been successful. For a while, I thought that I was making progress. I started going to a MD who stopped practicing conventional medicine over 25 years ago, and now practices Nutrional Therapies and Preventive Medicine. He recommended a 4 to 7 day juice fast with coffee enemas twice per day during the fast, lots of supplements, and strict diet. My BP dropped and I cut back on the meds, but then my BP went back up again, and now I am taking more meds than when I started with the MD.
I read your blog. You say that "the effects of this fast last for over a month" when you were describing your 5 day fast. Does that mean that you need to repeat the fast every month or so? Are you able to keep your BP normal without medications?
I can’t remember what book it was on controlling heart diseases, I did read about diet, fast and bowel cleansing to control blood pressure. I also remember the recommendation on taking frequent coffee enemas.
My own experience has shown me that coffee enemas are really quite ineffectual in controlling blood pressure. First and foremost is ones diet. It has to be “friendly” towards one’s heart and arteries. Second cholesterol needs to be kept down. I have not managed to avoid completely all heart medication but have a dramatically reduced dosage, really low dosage.
At present my blood pressure is 108/58. I eat very little red meat but do consume a lot of vegetables, mainly steamed with a fair amount of salmon, ahi tuna and some sardines. I go on a weekly 1 day juice fast with complete bowel cleanse. I also go on a 3 to 5 day fast with garlic enemas followed by coffee enemas. This seems to control my cholesterol and blood pressure very effectively. I have not taken any diabetic drugs for over 2 years since my blood sugar is under excellent control. My Doctor, an MD, is quite pleased with the results of my “way of life”.
At present I have become “gluten” sensitive and it is causing considerable upheaval in my diet. Trying to avoid gluten is a challenge.
By the way I have read Dr. Sherry Rogers book “Detoxify or Die” and can recommend her daily mixture of various supplements and coffee enemas. I am amazed at the results over time.
I hope that this gives you some hope in reducing your medications and feeling healthier.
I haven't done a coffee enema for couple of months because I was concerned about raising my blood pressure which is under control, i.e. less than 120/70. But, I just did a quart of coffee for 20 minutes and checked my b.p. several times during the waiting period. It did rise somewhat to about 140/85 max. Possibly part of this was the fact that enemas tend to be stimulating and perhaps somewhat sensual...not the reason that I do them. I enjoy them for the way they make me feel healthy and refreshed. So enjoy!
