Moreless, Is there a lot of sodium in the kelp? How likely is it to cause any fluid retention, which I have had problems with in the past. Also, can you advise how much protein one should eat? I can eat it early, but I hear too much is bad for you and too little causes hair problems. Please help! Thank you,,
"IF" you use wild Alaskan salmon and sardines for to supply your meat protein and have this early in the day, you may find that it may not take very much to keep you satisfied, as far as your Protein needs!
The kelp contains sodium and potassium as well as many other Alkaline Minerals!
If you take the Kelp with the Blackstrap Molasses drink, then you should not have any problem with too much fluid retention, because the Blackstrap Molasses contains a higher level of Potassium than it does of Sodium and if you increase your Calcium usage, then this may also help solve some of the problem of carrying too much water!!
Thank you for your advice. I greatly appreciate it. Just not sure what you mean by it might not take much to "keep satisfied". I was on a vegan diet for awhile with not a lot of protein compared to my meat/fish diet and I liked it fine. I only worry about my hair, so went back to the protein. How can I tell how much I need? Thank you!!
According to official govt guidelines an average (is there such a thing?) an adult female needs around 50 grams of protein a day.
2 ounces - is not much. Unless you are doing lots of body building or working out a lot, I think that really is enough. I like Chinese and Japanese traditional styles, where they really only use slithers of fish/meat in their cooking.
