Just wanted to tell of my success with pumpkin seeds for deworm and parasite ridding.
I was suggested to use this natural remedy and did some research and adjusted the proceedure slightly.
Here is what I did:
Breakfast: A green smoothie as I do each morning with 1 cup spinach, 1 egg, 1/2 t. black seeds, 1/2 t. fennel seeds (a aide for deworm), 1 T crushed pumpkin seeds (shell and all) 1/2 bannana green, 4 strawberries.
Mid morning snack 1/3 cup labane (yogurt drained of the whey) 1 jalepeno pepper deseeded chopped and 2 T. flax seeds crushed. the jalepeno is used for deworming.
Mid afternoon snack: 1 cup of almond milk or your choice, 1//2 T. raw honey and 1 T. crushed pumpkin seeds all heated thru.
Late night snack, 15 pumpkins seeds, shells and all.
After just 2 days of this I pasted a large parasite not sure what kind. Thought this might help someone.
That looks libe a good combo. You might want to add pineaple to this regimen, since from what I have heard, pumpkin seeds work best in association with pineaple--these two antipârasites complement eachother.Do a Google search for more details.
When you start eating raw garlic and dewormers like pumpkin seeds, you might have big surprises checking your bms in the morning!
I think so, natalia, I used them in the past and might do another round soon.
You and I seem to have same leaky gut problem, possibly with more food allergies on my side. If they are ok with me, you should be able to use them with no trouble.
Only question I have about them is--are they good only as antihelminticS--dewormers, if you prefer--or do they work also against protozoans parasites--the small invisible guys, like B. Hominis or Gardia? I did a Google but could not find the answer.
I have leaky gut and had no problem. Not for sure what all they rid and the fancy names but the sites also recommend jalepeno pepper 3 times a day with yogurt. and like I did milk and seeds with honey. They also suggest, garlic, fennel, mint and the pumpkin seeds. I could not get raw so I used roasted and had good luck. I hope tomorrow to get the raw. I did take the raw garlic today as Ketchup said with no problem but wary of that with leaky gut.
I personally will go natural any day or pharmaceuticals.
... Or at least create an unpleasant environment for them...
Besides raw pumpkin seeds, pineaple, garlic, oregano, coconut, peppermint, fennel, jalapeno--this one not recommended if your gut is sensitive, it burns like hell--there is also carrots, red beets, radishes, nutmeg, cloves, parsley, pomegranates.
wheir do you get them from??ketchup or mo i cant take raw garlic it irritaes me im allergic to carrots found that out on blood test for food allergies but i defintely wont some punkin seeds wheir can i buy them??
I live in France natalia, so my own addresses for pumpkin seeds are in France.
I believe you live in the UK and I did a quick searcH on ''pumpkin seeds and UK''.
MOst of the places I got were seeds to plant in a garden, probably non organic.
FOR Organic seeds to eat, check this site
thanks ketchup i want the seeds not the tablets i dont do well with most supplments but i will check out the other site i think u can buy them in grocery stores and maybe health shops have u taken them before?and if so what effects did u get after?
I am in Jordan but here you get them at the grocery stores, just like sunflower seeds. I would suggest a health food store or trader joes/ or as a lot of people do they buy a fresh pumpkin and use the seeds and soak them in salt water and then roast them slightly at a low heat. I am sure if you ask you will find them largely. All the sites said raw seeds but I used roasted and had good results. As for the jalepeno peppers when you cut them, deseed them and talk all the pulp out and soak them in the yogurt and they become more mellow. I was afraid too but tried them and it worked. What I understand is that this protocol takes about a week, so not long to tolerate. I do not take the peppers three times a day only once. But you know your stomach and what is best for you.
There is a big debate about whether you shell them or not but I chose not to shell as very difficult. I enjoy the milk and pumpkin very much but understand that pumpkin is hard on your kidneys so takes some getting use too and also start slow or you will get sick. There are many things you can use but my research shows the strongest are pumpkin seeds, jalepeno and garlic. Then fennel. For me I want the quickest results. I mean really it is so gross to think of giant worms inside me and I just got to get them out. I guess we could call our selves the great pumpkin kaper, Huh.!!!
I bought some hulled pumpkin seeds, threw them in my coffee grinder, and stirred it into my yoghurt. DELICIOUS!!!
I found this article:
Sweet in flavor, mild in nature, it is related to the stomach and large intestine channels.
To treat parasites:
This herb can destroy intestinal parasites. Sweet in taste and mild in nature, it causes no impairment to primordial qi. It is mainly used to expel and kill teniae (tapeworm). In addition, pumpkin seeds can also be used to treat schistosomiasis (infestation with or disease caused by schistosomes), but a larger dose should be required and they should be taken for a long time.
This herb is always used together with betel nuts, which can enhance its curative effects.
It can also be used for the treatment of schistosomiasis.
Dosage and Administration:
Grind into powder and mix with cold boiled water for oral administration.
Cautions on Use:
As this herb contains fatty oil, side effects such as anorexia, diarrhea, etc., always occur if a large dose of pumpkin seed powder is taken, but they will vanish by themselves.
Toxic or Side Effects:
Pumpkin seed contains water, cucurbitine, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, ash, calcium, phosphorus, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, fatty oil, proteins and vitamins A, B and C as well as carotene.
The seeds are mildly diuretic and vermifuge.
Its active ingredient cucurbitine can paralyze the middle and rear sections of teniae and it has a synergistic action with betel nuts. It can inhibit and kill the larvae of schistosomes. For adult schistosomes, it can cause their bodies to atrophy and their genitals to degenerate as well as reducing the eggs in their uteri, but it cannot kill the adult parasites.
Pumpkin seed can be eaten fresh or roasted for the relief of abdominal cramps and distention due to intestinal worms. About 800 peeled seeds is said to make a safe and effective treatment for tape worm. They are ground into a fine flour, then made into an emulsion with water and eaten. It is then necessary to take a purge in order to expel the Tapeworms or other parasites from the body.
The seed is high in zinc and has been used successfully in the early stages of prostate problems. The diuretic action has been used in the treatment of nephritis and other problems of the urinary sustem.
Performing a parasite cleansing flush at the same time you are performing your colon cleansing will not only help you flush the poisons and toxins from your system, you will also be able to get rid of the little bugs and parasites that you pick up from eating, drinking water, and simply walking barefoot in your yard. Parasites in your system can cause illnesses and allergies and when added to an unhealthy colon, you can feel terrible and never have a good reason for it. By using a parasite cleansing recipe with your colon cleansing flush, you can kill two birds with one stone.
It will take three to eight weeks of adding parasite cleansing recipe ingredients to your diet in conjunction with your colon cleansing. As you begin to feel better and notice things like the whites of your eyes no longer being bloodshot, you will know that the parasite cleansing is working. It's at this point you can discontinue the parasite cleansing part of your ritual.
More of a recommendation than an actual recipe, the parasite cleansing recipe that you use simply adds certain foods into your diet. These foods help kill the parasites in your system and help your gastrointestinal tract work well. Eating one to three fresh jalapeno peppers a day mixed with some yogurt will help kill internal parasites. By mixing the spicy peppers with yogurt, you will be able to eat them without it burning your throat and upsetting your stomach. And you'll actually be able to enjoy the flavor of the pepper for a change.
Garlic, fennel, and pumpkin seeds are all good for killing off the parasites in your system. They should be eaten raw to get the most benefits from the food. Pumpkin seeds contain an amino acid that paralyzes the parasites and causes them to drop free from your intestines, allowing them to simply be expelled from the body. Fennel and garlic also weaken the parasites. You can buy garlic tablets and take them in place of eating raw garlic. Also Vitamin C and hydrochloric acid tablets help kill the parasites as well.
Once you have performed your colon cleansing and your parasite cleansing, start drinking filtered water. Municipal water sources also have parasites in it that will multiple in your body and you'll have to start from the beginning all over again.
really not sure at all only because I have a white tongue. I have never been tested, quite frankly cant afford it. I did do that spit test and it appear to be positive. I use Raw honey and really watch the amount. I do eat some fruit but maybe that is not very good but do all right on it. I do follow the parasite forum, and not sure if I have a problem but want to rid anything I have. I figure with 4 cats it is probably safe to say I do.
Found that you must follow with laxatives after the pumpkin seeds. I started this forum because of the terrible hives but have them in control now with my elimanation diet so time will tell. I bought some raw pumpkin seeds today along with the fennel seeds and the fenugeek so am pretty well set. Oh yeah need the pineapple.
What I am trying to do is work on the parasites and then concentrate on the candida. I find it impossible to do both.
Here is a text for you. They are said by our prophet to cure everything but death.
Black Cumin. Or Nigella Sativa
“Use the black seed which is a healing for all diseases except death”2. Ibne-Sina in his famous book ‘Al-Qanoon fi el-Tibb’ has mentioned many medicinal uses of N. sativa including treatment of fever, common cold, headache, asthma, rheumatic diseases, scorpion and spider stings and bites of snake, cat and dog. Moreover, it is recommended for the treatment of microbial infections of skin (warts, collar-stud abscess and other abscesses, chronic fungal infections such as ring worm), eye and gastrointestinal tract as well as for the expulsion of worms from the intestines3. Multiple medicinal uses of N. sativa in the folk medicine encouraged many investigators to prepare various extracts of N. sativa, isolate active principles and to conduct experiments on laboratory animals and human beings using modern scientific techniques to demonstrate their pharmacological actions and therapeutic effects. These include, besides antimicrobial actions, immune stimulant1, anti-inflammatory4, 5; anti-cancer6, 7; anti-oxidant8, 9 hypoglycemic 10, 11, cardiovascular 12, 13, spasmolytic and bronchodilator effects14, 15. Numerous studies have been conducted to investigate the effectiveness of extracts of N. sativa and its active principles against bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Some of the studies regarding anti-fungal activity against opportunistic fungi and clinical isolates of dermatophytes have been done at King Faisal University (KFU), Dammam. Considering the emerging incidence of microbial infections, particularly in immunocompromised individuals, studies conducted for the evaluation of antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activities of N. sativa are being summarized below for the convenience of the interested readers and investigators. In the end some of the work done at KFU, Dammam, Saudi Arabia is also mentioned.
You know I dont know, I guess to move the junk but I will try to find a posting of it and download it for you. I have had real good luck with both. Today I got the raw seeds as I can not get fresh pumpkins. I did see a site that said to eat raw carrots but they have so much sugar. Beets also mentioned but they have a lot of sugar. Suggest pomegranates but they are not allowed on the Blood Type B diet.
Pumpkin seeds are a traditional remedy for worms. They work by paralysing the worms but not killing them so it is important that a natural laxative, such as psyllium seeds or flaxseed oil to move the worms out of the digestive system.
Children can be given 10-15 pumpkin seeds a day, and, adults twenty to thirty a day for about two weeks. Follow this with a laxative about one hour after each dose of seeds. Eating pumpkin seeds daily may even help prevent parasites. Laxatives however should not be taken over a lengthy period of time.
Alternatively try pumpkin and Watermelon seeds ground into a powder and mixed with a little aloe vera juice and taken on an empty stomach each morning.
