Arrrgggh!! I have trouble sleeping between 2-4 am, mostly hives and I'm trying to figure out what is causing them and if it's die off or exacerbation. I've read that the liver detoxes 2-4 am, but also that parasites are active then. I think I am parasite free, but who knows?
I'm taking several things, i.e., digestive aids, Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , turmeric, vit c, cal/mag, some glandulars for parathyroid and molybednum. But then again, it could just be that chocolate cake I ate last night! ... candida humor...
Anyone else have trouble from 2-4 am. or trouble sleeping? If I take valerian root, it helps.
Yup. Me too. Sometimes it's at other hours of the night (like when I'm first trying to fall asleep), though lately it's been getting better.
How much Miracle-Mineral-Supplement are you taking? I noticed trouble sleeping when I got up to 7-8 drops twice a day. Things got worse from there, till I got to 12 drops twice a day and then quit taking Miracle-Mineral-Supplement for several days. As soon as I stopped the MMS, I started sleeping better. I took 6 drops yesterday (morning only) and slept OK.
Basically, I now wake up only when I have to pee (usually once between 2 and 4 a.m.). But the good thing is that now I'm falling back asleep pretty quickly instead of tossing and turning for 2 hours. Much better than before.
I don't know why insomnia happens with MMS. I've been told it's the liver detoxing, and I've been told it could be parasite die-off. Either way, it has been an unpleasant side effect for me and other people. The solution seems to be to cut back on the MMS for a while. Seems to me this could be evidence that MMS does indeed work on the liver. Perhaps it works too well?
Thanks Candidaman, that makes sense. I'm taking 6 drops 2x/day, but not before bed, a.m. and afternoon. I guess that shows it's doing something, it's been hard to tell otherwise. I will monitor that and take valerian, sleep is so important!
Have you had other die-off symptoms with Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ? I had D and loose stools for weeks, starting at around 3 drops twice a day. Finally, at around 9 drops twice a day, it all dried up. I gather this was parasite and/or candida die-off? Who knows. I kind of wish it would return. Otherwise it's hard to tell whether anything is going on, at least for me. Other people have had other symptoms to clue them in, but for me it has not been too dramatic. Other people have noticed almost nothing until around 12 drops twice a day. At that point they suddenly have major die-off and say whoa and have to back down quickly. For me, I got all plugged up at 12 x 2 and scaled back.
No, nothing really other than the 2-4 am insomnia, actually it happens anytime after I fall asleep. I find I am really tired, go to bed, wake up after maybe an hour and then its toss and turn for hours. Going to stay at 6 drops 2x/day for awhile, take a few days off for the liver flush, then resume. Maybe I should drop down to 4 2x/day for awhile.
I have the same problem with sleep I mean. I do not take this mms and I believe it is more die off then a drug thing. My diet is all natural and I take no pharmeceuticals at all. Hives would cause you to not sleep, I am sure your hives are from your diet, look closely at documenting your food and try the elimination or rotation diet.
I have this exact problem. I wake at 4:00a every day no matter what. It is so weird. I never had to get up at 4:00 for any steady reason. It happens regardless of whether I have a glass of wine or a glass of water. Whether I drink coffee or not. Whether I sleep early or late. Whether I nap or not. Valerian, tryptophan, or melatonin don't seem to matter, but do give me strange dreams. I don't know what the answer is, but I do get tired of being tired.
Yes! Absolutely, the last several nights.
Waking several times with sweat literally dripping off my face. Heart palpitations. Execma on my hand waking me because of the itch - which, although I've had excema for nearly 10 years, has never awakened me from sleep. Getting up to urinate, and I'm not a middle-aged man. hehe.
The only things different in the last week in my anti-candida protocol is adding lugol's, pau d'arco and milk thistle.
