THe homeopathic of the chemical affecting those adrenals can be of help for hypoglycemia , food sensitivities and illness from weak adrenals.
Here is an amazing cure my dog received using only homeopathy
. She was diagnosed with cushings disease which is from too much insulin being excreted .. This can be because of the imbalance of the hormone called ACTH which is excreted by the pituitary as I recall.. So when the veterinarian told me my dog would have to have her adrenal or pituitary gland removed as it probably had a tumour on it , then after that drama would have to be on a drug to replace what is gone for the rest of her life , I had second thoughts of following his advice and went to an an alternative vet. .
I chose to pursue a natural route. THe vet I saw next gave my dog a homeopathic of the hormone called ACTH.. After 10 days she got her appetite back and after one month of treating her she recovered totally and lived another 2 years longer until the age of 16 , a ripe old age for a big standard poodle..
I have been diagnosed with low adrenal function recently and am now taking that very same homeopathic with great results.I have had chronic fatigue, irritable bowel, severe environmental and food sensitivities for over 30 years ,
I did not make great headways until a year ago when I started doing frequent dose chelation to lower my high levels of lead , mercury and arsenci.I have spent a long time taking many , many supplements, herbs, cures etc. I started taking lecithin for my irritable bowel with great results. Last week I started taking the homeopathic ACTH again. I had had it before but with only slight results. ,This time around after great success with frequent dose chelation I have more energy and do not feel the stress as much .
It may not cure me but with the other herbs and lowering my heavy metals , maybe I will be equally as lucky.
Sorry for not getting back to you.... the homeopathic is called a nosode of ACTH... When you go to purchase it just ask for homeopathic ACTH in a low dose of minimum 6c ... You take it when at least three times a day..
I am using homeopathic ACTH for myself. I have adrenal stress from foods and chemicals in my environment. I can have times of euphoria/ super extra strength as well as sweating, muscle shutdown , fatigue and panic attacks after eating or putting on my skin anything that triggers my problems with chemicals .
I find that with taking the homeopathic of the hormone that regulates the adrenals called ACTH , it stops my bad reaction of panic and weakness.
When my dog was diagnosed with Cushings I didn't consider surgery. From all the research I did, only one type can be operated on (either pituitary or adrenal -- can't remember which), and it is located near a lot of major veins, etc. Also, my dog had hypothyroidism and diabetes, so I didn't feel she was in the condition to handle major surgery. I had my dog on Drenamin PMG (by Standard Process --- bovine adrenal extract plus others). I also gave her many supplements including milk thistle (Cushings very hard on liver), probiotics, digestive enzymes, colostrum, etc. Was the supplement you were talking about similar to the Drenamin? I eventually did put her on a medication when it got really bad. At the time, the medicine had to be imported (to US) from England with vet info to make it through customs. It was a drug that worked better and didn't have the side effects like the other treatments. The vet version was called Vetoryl. I can't remember the name of the drug it contained. I do remember my mom telling me (she works in a pharmacy) that it was also used for humans for something completely different.
The reason I tried the Drenamin was because I also had her on Thytrophin PMG for an underactive thyroid for years. I was able to take her off the thyroid medication, and the Thytrophin actually kept her levels more balanced. Because of seeing the great results, I really do trust Standard Process products. I should probably use them for myself but haven't yet. I tend to do more research for my pets' ailments than for mine.
