well i just got to pee every two hours, im use to it now. i saw this photo of a lost iud on the web images, and it had been placed inside her bladder. i dont know where mine was but its out now. the doctor told me it was lost but saw it on the ultrasound somewhere, thing is that my uterus did not show an iud at all. the stupid doctor told me when he saw my uterus and there was nothing there but a five week embryo, i said what is that, he said nothing significant. ofcourse he would say that after telling me my pain must be fibroids. he should have said it was i fibroid, but anyway i knew it was a baby. WAS cause he rammed me with the hook thing ending all of that. i was freaking out then i was attacked by another doctor.
i was guessing my bladder problems was from them having me clamped open so long against my will. how could i get up with out hurting my insides with all the instruments inside me?
they always tell me i have a bladder infection. i was also told that leakage of urine is due to having had three children. i never had this problem before mirena. i only have to pee about once an hour.
omg you go twice as much as me.
i even wake up to go pee and thats hard to do which legs that dont want to work. i didnt know you had to pee so much. see thats another thing they want us to buy is that bladder control pill, so i guess you dont take that?
when i wake up then stand up i must go straight to the bathroom. this only started after the removal attempt.
i almost kissed the carpet the other day when my left leg was numb. i stood up and could not feel my leg, no tingling or anything, it was just dead. i finally have insurance and have an appointment to get my lost mirena out. i cant wait!!! i will not leave that office until its out!!!
i only still have it because i went to get it out in october 2007. the doctor couldnt find it. i found this site one night and found out i might not be crazy. i have listed my symptoms in many of my other posts. the doctor/midwife looked at me like i was crazy when i said it was mirena. i didnt have insurance then. i just got insurance last week so now i can go to a different doctor on february 26. i hope and pray she can find it. i have been obsessed with this site since i found it. i appreciate your posts. i also refuse to see a male doctor due to reading your experience. i do not believe a female doctor would have been so abusive to you. i was also lied to about mirena. they showed me a white piece of plastic that was about the size of a silver half dollar and it was round and almost horseshoe shaped. i would not have gotten it if i had known it was T-shaped. i pray at night sometimes and i pray for women on this site for healing. sorry if i dont make much sense. i cannot think right due to mirena
ok well the lady doctor that gave it to me only made a circle with her finger when i asked what it looked like. as much pain as that guy in the photo caused me, i was so desperate to get it out i had called 20 doctor offices that refused to take it out and they didnt even know it was lost.
i was told to go back to the dr that put it in. i was freaked out and nearly insane cause they would hang up or just ignore me when i asked for pain meds. they did have an appointment set for a month later but i could not wait cause i was not sleeping or eating. the fever and chills and sweating and shaking made me want to just go ahead and die quickly.
a man took mine out a very nice gentle man took it out in 5 seconds, even though dr giggles in the photo said it was lost.
i still have bladder problems for the past 3 years.
i thought this might be of interest to you. "When estrogens are low, the urethral mucosa gets quite thin and more prone to infection and irritation. Estrogen usually helps this by thickening the skin (mucosa) lining the inside of the urethra making it less sensitive to drying out, rubbing or even vaginal bacteria" i found it on a site.
Having the same problems, developed symptoms of what seems to be IC after having the Mirena IUD for approx 6 months. I've been taking pyridium for the bladder pain, and trying to stay on an IC recommended diet to help until I can get tests, etc done. Currently uninsured :\ so have to wait.
