I was wondering if anyone here can tell me about all of the symptoms of candida. I never have considered candida in my life, and don't know much about it.
However, I am trying to research everything I can as to why I am having so many problems with my eyes.
I can hardly see straight sometimes. Yes, I went back to the laser eye center where I got my Lasik surgery and eyes were pronounced fine. Had them looked at by the doctor, nothing. Another doctor, nothing and so on.
Still no one can help me so I have to help myself.
The L eye "vibrated" for nearly two years. The lashes all fell out of the R eye.
Now both hurt but mostly the R eye. I know that all of the stresses and strains of normal every-day life here in America isn't too good for us but can or could any kind of yeast problems be contributing.
I look forward to any input or sharing your own experiences with candida.
Candida can affect any part of the body, including the eyes. I have had eye problems since I've had the candida including blurred vision needing magnifyers to read, even though the doctor says I have 20/20 vision, as well as floaters and sometimes when I stare at walls, it looks like water is running down them. Hope this helps.
I have candida and had many eye problem, blurred vision, shooting pains, dry sandy feeling in the mornings, watery eyes, burning. I have cleared alot of the candida from my system so now my eyes are fine....I hope that my hearing improves over time as my eyes did.
Vitamin A helps a lot for eye issue (hence the belief that carrots are good for your eyes, being full of vitamin A just as cayenne pepper.
I find that generally speaking, eyes and kidneys go hand in hand. SO to heal eye issues, a kidneys cleanse is a good idea. Kidneys are often deglected, we cleanse the bowels and liver, and forget about them
I'm so glad your eyes are fine. I remember your discussions about how much trouble you were having with your eyesight, and it's such wonderful news that everything has turned out fine. My eyesight was also very blurry when I had candida. At times it looked like I was looking through a milky film over my eyes. Happily, my eyesight is fine now.
However, after spendng six months trying unsuccessully to totally rid myself of a candida infection with antifungals, I finally took action on the parasite front. I've read that parasites may cause candida to begin with, so in order to get rid of it, you have to get rid of the parasites. So, I took Humaworm, an antiparasite cleanse that also has excellent antifungals in it. The month I was on it was amazing because I watched myself get totally well. Either the antifungals in Humaworm were very effective against the strain of yeast that I had, or parasites were the cause of my candida, and once I got rid of them, I got well. Or maybe it was both. I've been well from candida for six months now. I'm also now taking another round of Humaworm since six months has passed since I first took it. (You're only supposed to take Humaworm two to three times a year.) I'm going to use Humaworm every six months from now on to make sure the parasites, fungus and yeast stay away.
By the way, probiotics is another area that is helpful to learn about in dealing with candida. The theory is that when the fungus and yeast popultion is killed off by the antifungals, probiotics allow "good bacteria" to grow and take their place, thereby making it harder for the yeast and fungus to reestablish themselves. Here is an article from Prevention Magazine that lists some good probiotics:
'He was able to diagnose and treat what over the years has come to be called simply, "Candida." His tests came back off the scale and he put me on Diflucan, Nystatin and the now infamous "Candida diet." The drugs worked as long as I was taking them (at $18 a pill), but the symptoms came back full blown as soon as I stopped.'
No I don't believe everything I'm told but I've heard this from several different sources and it's enough to cause me to pause before taking it. If no one convinces me otherwise I won't take it, especially seeing as the natural antifungals do kill candida so it's the overall aspects of my health I need to work on like cleansing and getting rid of parasites then my Amalgams (I do have mercury poisoning) then there's no reason why the natural antinfungals won't wipe it out completely.
Perhaps some people can't come off of Nystatin because they never solved the underlying issues, and did not add enough good flora back. It's been my experience that it'll just keep growing if all you do is try to kill it. I find people want quick and easy fixes to things ( not anyone here, I mean people in general ). You should see people's eyes when I tell them about my diet and how I changed my entire lifestyle through diet, exercise and running. I can't tell you how many people I have talked with who give me reasons why THEY can't run...or had to stop running, but comment how nice that I can. Oh give me a break. My husband always has a good smile because he knows how hard it was for me to begin running and exercise. I used to come home and put ice packs on my joints and tendons. It was not easy. Anyway, people always have excuses don't they? :-). I'd say do what works for you, and everyone has to try things out for themsleves. We all know by now that we have different issues that need to be adressed.
I've read where the WORMWOOD found in Humaworm is not something humans should take...I did a Detoxogigie cleanse and was told it would get rid of parasites...what State do you live in, is it south where parasites are more common???
I don't know how I got parasites, and maybe I didn't even have them. I've been thinking that maybe I had parasites because Humaworm got me well. It might have been the antifungals in Humaworm that worked so well, too. Or maybe it was both. It was something about the Humaworm that got me well, though. If there's another parasite cleanse that you think is better, maybe you should give it a try, and hopefully it will work as well for you.
As for wormwood, from what I've read, I'm not concerned. Here's what I read in Wikipedia:
I'm going to take Humaworm as soon as it comes in the post and I was wondering if you could tell me what to take while I'm doing it or do we stop everything else?
I know I have worms because I've been doing P&B shakes and they're bringing some Tapeworm segements out that look like rice. Humaworm told me what they are in his forum.
I'm a bit curious, you say you don't know if you actually had worms, does this mean you didn't look down the toilet while you were doing it because I think perhaps I shouldn't look because I'm very worm phobic! I can't even stand garden worms!
I'm like you, Asanlight, just the thought of worms gives me the creeps, so I didn't look. I didn't want to look. Some people amaze me, though, who not only look, they take pictures and post them on the internet!
I took a probiotic while on Humaworm the first time last April, but Humaworm says not to take probiotics until you've finished the round. This is because Humaworm kills the good bacteria in the probiotics along with the all of the yeast and fungus. So, I'm not taking probiotics this time until I've finished. I might start them back up a week or so before finishing the Humaworm so that the bacteria will have a head start in getting reestablished after I've finished this round.
So far I haven't had any die-off like I had the first time, so I take that as a good sign that the candida and fungus have not reestablished themselves since the last time I took Humaworm in April. Yeah!
Strange this! Have other worms as well as Tapeworm segments coming out now and this is before Humaworm! lol
I'm wondering what's killing them, unless it's old, dead ones, do they die of old age? I'm doing the P&B shakes but though I know it could get them out I'm not sure how it could kill them, and I recently added coconut oil and oregano oil so wondering if that's doing it?
What's also strange is that though I've had problems keeping my mind off worms and can't wait until the Humaworm arrives and it's all making me feel weird I haven't been squeamish with the ones in the toilet. It's the ones in my mind that creep me out the most I think!
Anyway thanks for the info, very helpful, I wasn't aware that my good bacteria will get killed off. Seems such a waste of money for all the ones I've been putting in!
Glad about your success in getting cleaned up; how are you feeling?
I feel great, Asanlight. Thanks for asking. The more I hang around here, the more convinced I become that parasites is the underlying cause of candida for many of us. The fact that Humaworm killed off the parasites is the only explanation as to why I got over candida, and the fact that the parasites are gone now is the only explanation as to why the candida hasn't come back. It appears that this is also true for Angelofeveningtide.
Who knows how we get parasites--maybe from produce in salads or even petting dogs. But, as we have all discussed many times before, the underlying condition that is causing the candida to grow out of control has to be dealt with before we can rid ourselves of it. That's why just killing off the candida isn't enough, whether by Nystatin or oil of oregano. The candida just keeps growing back until the underlying condition causing it has been dealt with.
I hope so much for you, Asanlight, that parasites are the explanation for your candida, and that once you take Humaworm and get rid of them, you will finally be able to get well. You deserve it as hard as you have worked to regain your health.
Awwwwwwww you're a star! You're well and yet you still take the time to come here and help the rest of us, this is soooooo appreciated! We need you guys who are further along the road and thanks for the encouragement.
I have high hopes that things will start to happen once I get rid of the worms. My stomach feels so bloated most of the time and after testing the naturopath said I've very blocked up so once I'm cleaned up my body's bound to be able to cope better. I'm hoping the worms are causing my hypoglycemia too, I read in the Humaworm site that they can cause it. It'd be so good to get all of the nourishment from my food for the first time in years and be energetic! When I'm well I'll be even more like a little kid than I am now! :)
I recently read that toxins affecting the liver can affect your eyesight. Also, a family member of mine experienced hair loss, including eye lashes and some eyebrow and was diagnosed with alopecia. Alopecia is an auto immune disorder that causes hair loss adn can be brought on by stress. At one point I was so full of toxins from candida that I could not see straight. By that i mean it ws a if I was drunk. I could not focus. I could not even watch tv because I could not follow the movement. I had to close one eye to drive my car. And I could not open my eyes at all in the sun, I had to wear really dark sunglasses. As I cleared away toxins I no longer had that issue.
My advice to you would be first to seek the advice of another eye doctor to make sure all is well with your eyes due to surgery. If you are certain all is well on that front, you should start investigating. Could be canddia , or it might be somethg else. An eye problem alone does not indicate candida. Most who have candida have multiple things going on all of which point right at candida or its backlash.
You could simply be lacking a vitamin , mineral , essential fatty acids, amino acids etc. Have you had your blood Sugar tested? Blood pressure etc. A panel of bloodwork done? These are things to consider before you pursue candida. There are many things that could be causing your eye problems , you want to rule them all out before you consdier candida.
