Booze and beer act like a sedative and are thus TEMPORARILY calming, which is why many AF sufferers abuse alcohol. However, they often get hungover after just one or two drinks because of poor clearance (read: congested liver).

Alcohol is also a naked carbohydrate, forcing cells to make energy at a rapid rate. This sets off the blood Sugar roller coaster. AVOID like the plague.
