crabbiness settling in.... and everyone thought the storms had passed.
This is the WORST part for me - the moodiness during the first few days. It goes away, and then a blissful peace sets in.. so it’s a good trade off.
I wonder how much of the mood changes are related to becoming slightly more ’aware’ and tuned in to our surroundings? Almost like it’s a heightened state of awareness.. vs. just moodiness.

Day 2... feeling great. 5 y
The very first thing I notice when I fast, is that I can wake up free of goop in my eyes. I know, that’s a really odd thing to focus on lol. My sleep is already improved from, another wonderful benefit - in that I wake up in the morning refreshed. I do tend to get tired at a point in the later afternoon, but not too bad. Weight is down a little (not focussin on this), and I can see a slight improvement in my skin. Can;t wait to see what the next weeks will bring.

20 days of water fasting 5 y
I had originally started 2 days ago, but this Hurricane pushed off my start - but here I am almost through with Day 1 of my water fast and feeling clear headed. I think I love that most about fasting - my brain just seems to work better, difficult situations or problems become clearer. And overall - my mood during fasting is amazing (save for 2-3 days in my transition).
I’m doing this for HEALTH not weight ~ but I will include my weight loss totals at least every few days. visit the page
