- My Broke Fast 3 y
I’m so broke I’m fasting. I had bananas and some potatoes yesterday. I only have dried beans left in my house, and no money to buy food. So, it’s a good thing cause I want to fast anyway. I will get a paycheck soon, but I want to continue fasting to save some money as well as the health reasons. If I can get past the first few days without eating those beans. LOL.

April would be a really good time for me to do a long fast. It will start getting warmer. I hate fasting in the winter.
It’s kind of true when people say fat friends make or keep you fat. It’s hard to diet or fast around my friend (or maybe frenemy ) is is also fat.
She is 200ish lbs, just 30 lbs lighter than me, but thinks she is thin in comparison and I’m suppose to be the fat one. She talks to me like I’m grossly obese and she is just normal. Working on changing eating habits. My face has been clear for a while and looks better, people are noticing. My jeans feel a little baggy. Going to start exercising too.

For a few days I relapsed into my old bad eating habits. Part of it was being around other people who don’t know how to really eat right. I have to become more assertive about my diet instead of giving into to conformity around me.

Was going to fast then I realized these bananas I had that I thought where plantains were just bananas, and had to eat them. Bad excuse. Which led to more eating around 1500 calories of frozen vegetables, oatmeal, honey and bananas.
Seems I should be losing weight cause I am generally eating a lot less than normal and better but my lowest weight this morning was 236, up a lb.
It seems the only weight I have lost so far was due to fasting, and it’s seems relatively easy to keep off if I eat carefully like I am doing.

Had chickpeas with mustard and oatmeal with honey throughout the day. Probably around 2000 calories. Eating a whole lot better then I used to. Fasting a couple of days really helps.
I am going to attempt fasting again tomorrow. Not sure if I will do more then one day or not.
Exercise would help speed up my weight loss. Thinking of getting a gym membership but there are none close to me. I will go for a long walk tomorrow and see how that is. visit the page

Had plain baked potatoes with mustard. And corn on the cobs, today. No added salts or fat/butter or anything and it tasted pretty good. Not as good as a slice of pizza but better then I thought it would with out all the added fats and stuff.
So fasting one day helped me eat better already.
I will be fasting on and off, taking it one day at a time.

I usually go out with my close friend almost every weekend. She like to eat out a lot and drink. Which makes fasting on the weekends hard.
If I just hang out with her and drink water, she will be pissed off and thinks my fasting is crazy. This would alienate me from my friend. We don’t agree about diet. She is very conventional and I am more into natural hygiene which she doesn’t care to understand.
I could just have a salad at restaurants, and seltzer at the bars. And do my fasting during the weekdays? visit the page

Attempting to do a lot of fasting until March while things are slow for me, this way I can rest if needed. I will be fasting on and off. No promises on being a perfect faster though. It will probably be a up hill battle for me as I struggle with some issues of overeating. I need to fast for a whole heap of other reasons. but I’ll start with the overeating thing. visit the page
