Thanks. I did have fresh pineapple juice last week and did a Clark liver cleanse over the weekend. Nothing great came out but this is just my 2nd cleanse. Drank at least a cup of UT a day that week. Don't understand the hestiation to drink this -- if is so good for you - go for it big time! I'll take the word of the ancients over the AMA any day.
Have you done a urine/distilled water fast? I did one for ten days, wow mental clarity, awesome energy... Maybe a few days urine/distilled water fast (discard first second and last second of urine) would help?
Would like to try that. What is the combination? A cup in distilled water enough for the hole day, or is more needed? Does this also cleanse the liver?
Also, I understand the middle of the stream necessity, but what are the side effects of say getting a little of before of after stream into the mix?
Is it noticable like feeling bad or does it take longer to somehow affect you ?
You only want to consume the midstream, as the beginning washes out bacteria and such and the end part has sediment in it. Drinking midstream urine and water alternately through the day is a urine fast. No food, no juice other than distilled water and midstream urine. I always have HUGE amounts of energy doing a urine fast, every time, no matter what. A urine fast cleanses not just the liver, but the bloodstream and everywhere else, all organs, and all tissues. I highly suggest doing a few days of either fruit and hand squeezed fresh fruit juice before doing a urine fast, with plenty of water drank through the whole day. A good ratio is one day fruit/juice will enable you to do five days on a urine fast, then break urine fast with fresh hand squeezed orange juice for one day, then one day for every five days you did the urine fast. For example, three days fruit or fresh fruit juice (never storebought/pasturized = dead juice), fifteen days urine/water fast, one day fresh orange juice, two days fresh fruit juices, then solid food, fruit first, then incorporate other foods slowly.
