How long does it take for a parasite cleanse to begin to take effect?
I'm new to it, been doing it for 7 days. I'm on the MH dewormer, not that it matters what formula, I think. But, how long to expect beginning results?
Depends on how heavy your parasite load, what kind of parasites you are cleansing and which formula you are using. I only weigh 100 pounds and I've been cleansing for over a year. I cannot tolerate the recommended dose of one formula that I use. I had to take 5-10 times more than the recommended dose of another formula I tried, in order for it to have any effect at all. It also depends on your constitution, your lifestyle and your diet. Some products work better for some people than others.
If you don't get the results you are looking for with one product, try something else. I recommend starting with the least expensive ones and going from there. Be sure to read the labels. If you feel really bad, start with half the recommended dose to be safe. If you can tolerate that, up the dose. I quite often increase to a dose that is higher than what is recommended on labels, especially if I was getting results at the recommended dose, and the results stopped.
But I am going for a really deep cleanse because my immune system was impaired by viruses, so I am at risk of the disease coming back really fast and hitting me hard. I want to be sure I get it all, and/or keep things in check, in case I am re-exposed. If you are young and your immune system is strong, and you get rid of a mother load, or two, then your body might be able take over and keep things in balance, without going over the recommended amount.
This is just my opinion, based on personal experience. It is not intended to take the place of professional medical advice. Take what you like and leave the rest and all that good stuff.
I'm just wondering on your experience with parasite cleansing. Sometimes I'm at such a loss, I just don't know where to turn anymore. I've been fighting these vermits for so long, I'm so infested I can't stand it. Through cleansing, liver flushes, juicing, and diet, I've come a long way...at least I don't feel horrid every day like I once did. And no more panic attacks, those were awful. So, much is better, however, I'm still teaming with parasites. It used to be that most of the herbs I tried against parasites, made me so sick I wasn't even functional. Now...I can tolerate them...but, I'm not sure I'm killing anything. I've been taking the herbs for almost 1 month, and I think I feel a tad better in general...but I really don't think I'm impacting them that much. I can feel them, and it's the same.
My question is...how do you go about things? Do you try for 1 month, more? less? Do you take a week or so break every 3 weeks, or 1 month? I'm just wondering what's worked for you....and...what herbs or products or procedures, did you find very helpful?
So far, of all the zillion things I've tried, what's been best for me:
colon cleansing (although I've yet to get most of it out...but just being on some colon cleansing routine always makes me feel better anyhow)
I was having some success before with simply garlic juice (fresh garlic run through my juicer). Now it doesn't seem to get them anymore.
And...the same thing happens to me as does you, where I'll see some results for a day, maybe 2, then nothing. So discouraging.
It really kind of depends on what ails you. I have hep C, which makes me susceptible to liver and lung flukes. When I realized what was going on, and that I had all the symptoms, I went after them.
It is my understanding that parasites lay thousands of eggs and the mother puts off a hormone that prevents the eggs from hatching until after she dies. Anti-parasitical herbs in your system will also prevent the eggs from hatching. It is important to keep your colon cleaned out. Get rid of as many eggs as possible with colonic irrigation and fiber. You also have to stop taking antiparasiticals periodically and give the deeply embedded eggs time to hatch out, then go back on the anti-parasiticals and kill the babies, before they have time to grow up, mate and lay more eggs.
It is also my understanding that many of the little diverticuli pockets, polyps, bulges or whatnot in the colon are nests that parasites made for their eggs. They apparently put caps over the nests, so nothing can get to their eggs and disturb them. And those stinging needle like sensations are parasites piercing your insides, moving around, breaking out of their shells, mating, looking for food, traveling through your insides, whatever. What I know is limited. I can only imagine. Some of this is hyperbole as I try to fill in the gaps of my knowledge.
If you know which parasite you are dealing with, and how long it takes for them to hatch out and reach juvenile stages, it would apparently be helpful in determining how long you need to take the anti-parasitical herbs, and how long to stop taking them. I've heard there is some research indicating that anti-parasiticals work best 10 days on and 5 days off. And it takes 10 rounds at that frequency to completely eliminate them. I've also heard they are more active during the full moon and you need to hit them as hard as you can during their active phase. Mine do seem to flare up during full moons.
I've flushed a lot of parasites out of my system with a product called Clear, sold by Awareness Corporation. It is expensive, but in my opinion, worth it. I've seen things in the toilet that look sort of like baby June bugs and two wads of ascaris. It also gets rid of those rolled up tomatoe peel looking critters, and green leafy looking doo dads. I've seen gray oil floating after a BM, and sometimes get black particles. The smell is atrocious when stuff like this comes out. Usually the smell isn't all that bad.
I have also used Red Clover Stillingia for over a year. When I combine the BR and RCS, tiny little worms start to surface on my tongue, but I have to take a lot of it, nearly twice what my accupuncturist recommends.
Some say it is impossible to completely get rid of parasites because the eggs are everywhere. The best we can do is cleanse regularly and keep them at a minimum. In order to keep them at a minimum, you have to kill off as many of the big ones as you can, and this can be difficult, since the size of the dose required to kill them, can also be lethal to you. But if you can't kill them without killing yourself in the process, take heart. The life cycle of most parasites is pretty short, except (I think) tape worms. I probably shouldn't go into what I think without doing some research and making sure, but since you asked...
This is all just my opinion, based on my personal experience and a bunch of heresay. I have no proof. Take what you like and leave the rest. If there are any experts who know better, by all means, speak up and I'll stand corrected.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Bloodroot saved my life. But it is hard to take because it makes you feels so sick. So I have combined it with a lot of other things. There is a whole lot of information about what else I have done on the Bloodroot forum and in other threads. You may want to do a search for all my threads and read them too.
I tend towards extremes. I periodically increase the dose until I can feel them biting, stinging, and crawling around in me, and on me, trying to get away from it. A couple of my advisors are always telling me that I should go slower and I don't have to suffer. But knowing there are parasites living in in my body to the detriment of my health, is harder for me to endure than the pain of killing them off, so I go after them hard and heavy every chance I get. I cannot do cleansing and work, or function, normally. I need lots of rest when I do it. I also need to stay close to the bathroom.
I've read your reply to myself and megan, thanx. My bio:
I'm new to cleansing. i'm 41. Have not eaten all that terribly in my years, but completed 10 days of MC in Jan have have dastically improved my diet. No no-nos now at all. Nearly pure vegetarian. No alcohol, sugars, artificial sweetners, white anything, dairy excpet a little cheese. very little meat. once a week if that.
I'm 9 days on the barefoot heralist's dewormer. Also on his bowel balance and kideny cleanse tincture.
I feel very much the same.
I did a Liver Flush over last weekend, which resulted in a little more energy for me. Less naps needed during the day. That's what i'm gaging my results on, how much energy do i have without feeling drug down , can i make it well through a day, and do i need naps, if so how many and for how long. currently i'm down to 1 2hr nap daily, with 9 hrs sleep at night. i was having 2 or more naps daily.
So its an improvement.
But i dont "feel" anything parasite wise, havent had any pass that i have been able to see. How do i know its working? I'm sure i have them, at my age. If from nithing else than from meat eating, sushi, not being diligetn about washing fruits or veggies in the past.
You may need a different dewormer formula, one that isn't sweet.
I've gotten results with-
Diatamaceous earth- lots of movement, grumbling, complaining, and then few dead noodle looking worms (be sure and do colonic after DE, or take oxycleanse, because it will stop you up quick if you don't)
Experience and Clear by Awareness Corporation- wads of worms, all kinds of them, unbelievable (you take Experience at night, Clear in the morning) Start with one Experience every night for 5 nights, then add one Clear in the morning. If you don't get results, or stop getting results, increase to two. You can go all the way up to 5. Don't increase if you are getting results. Make sure you can be near a bathroom in the morning. Experience tones the colon and cleans out the pockets. Clear kills the bugs. You are supposed to take it for 90 days, lay off it for 30 days, then take it again for 90 more, until all symptoms are gone. I would venture to say that if you don't get results after taking this stuff, you don't have any parasites. If you have parasites, you will experience some cramping. Start slowly and build up. Don't push it. There is no need to suffer.
Red Clover Stillingia and Bloodroot- tiny little worms surface on the end of my tongue when I take these herbs. Somebody said they are probably baby ascaris. They look like tiny little threadworms, and they are very elastic. When you try to pull them off they will stretch like bubble gum, let go with a snap and roll into a tiny little ball, and you almost need a magnifying glass to see it. If you drop it, you will never find it. Sometimes when you try to pull them off, they bury themselves back into you. When these things surface, it feels like tiny little hair or fiber wiggling around on the tongue, trying to work it's way out of the body.
At first I wondered if I was hallucinating from the herbs, but a friend of mine looked at my tongue, and said she would see them. They are white. If the inside of your mouth starts sloughing off stuff that seems like dead skin cells, it is probably a whole bunch of these little things dying off. I have to take a lot of RCS and BR, to clear these things, so much that I feel dizzy. My accupuncurist said it was the liver clearing that was making me dizzy, and gave me something for dizziness, so I could keep up the high dose. I am going for a really deep cleanse. I do not recommend this kind of regimen unless you have someone to supervise you, check your pulse and stuff.
I boiled a tablespoon of cloves in a quart of low fat milk one time, and drank it like it was hot chocolate, couldn't believe all the eggs that came out of me later in the day. It looked like there was birdseed floating in the toilet. Lot's of it.
Buy GWBH/Clove/WW tincture, No Sugar, plain tincture. Put some in small amount of water and drink it like it was a shot of tequila. I will sometimes put 2-3 droppers, but I don't recommend starting with that much. Start with 5-10 drops. If you don't feel anything, thirty minutes later, do 5-10 more drops, if you don't feel anything , 30 minutes later, do 10 more drops, etc, until you get some results. When you figure out what your optimal dose is, take it 2-5 times a day for 10 days, then lay off it for 5 days. You will see more results, when you cleanse the colon. It is important to do so. You don't want dead worms rotting inside you. It will make you feel sick.
This is just my opinion, based on personal experience. I haven't any proof. My friends think I'm crazy, so take it with a grain of salt.
I'd like to know the ingredients in Clear. I visited http://www.awarecorp.com/ to find out about ingredients. But unfortunately there is no info there. I am wondering if you could look at the package of Clear and list the ingredients here. Thanks a lot.
